"So let each one give as he has purposed in his heart,

not grudgingly or of necessity; for God loves a cheerful giver."

2 Corinthians 9:7

DEAR FRIENDS,

Friends: noun 1.  a person attached to another by feelings of affection or personal regard.  2.  a person who gives assistance; patron; supporter: as in “Friends of St. Thomas of Villanova School.”

As we embark on this journey to insure that the many benefits of attending St. Thomas of Villanova School are maintained and enhanced, our need for friends has never been greater. We will need the support of friends to achieve our mission. Your kindness and generosity are necessary, now, more than ever. As you learn more about FOSTOVS, you will see the role your friendship will play in our success.

For 50 years, St. Thomas of Villanova School has had a tremendous influence on the Palatine, IL and surrounding communities; our graduates have excelled in the world.  We want to insure that the Christian values-based learning, in a Catholic environment, is sustained and available to all who desire to be a part of it. We need friends to make that happen.

It’s, also, about money coming in and spending it efficiently. We pledge to you that your donations will be used to grow enrollment, upgrade facilities, support the dedicated faculty and increase the student offerings.

St. Thomas is a private school and while it is supported by tuition, fundraising and limited parish support, we have no public funding. We rely on friends.

We hope you will accept our invitation to help by generously giving to Friends of St. Thomas of Villanova School. Your gifts are flexible. They will be used to fund a broad range of educational needs. Friends like you will make all of our successes possible.

Give now.

"Looking back on my 27 years as a teacher at St. Thomas of Villanova,I feel a very strong attachment to this school. I firmly believe that St. Thomas provides a high quality education and that the religious instruction builds a strong Faith foundation. St. Thomas presents a challenging curriculum and allows a variety of extra curricular activities both within a course of study and outside of school. Our approach has helped students develop skills in team building, problem solving, working together and trust. Teachers and parents have always worked well together to help the students achieve the high standards placed before them. I am honored to have been a part of St. Thomas and know our students have been given a solid base to be successful in their future endeavors."
