Our Mission

Our mission is to raise funds to support the Christian values and quality education offered by STV School. We do so by seeking charitable gifts, which are used by the School in accordance with the principles and priorities established by STV School administrators.

Our Vision

Our vision is to encourage ongoing financial support and legacy funding by inspiring parishioners, businesses, alumni and FRIENDS, creating strong alliances and promulgating the successes and positive influences STV School has on its graduates and the community.

STV School is a leader in providing quality education and early life experiences for so many within Palatine, Illinois and surrounding communities.

St. Thomas of Villanova School 1st Grade Teacher

“FOSTOVS has given me the tools to engage my first graders like never before. I have been teaching at St. Thomas for 35 years. Thirty years ago I could never have dreamt of the many enhancements FOSTOVS would provide. I am so proud of my inviting classroom with beautiful new desks, guided instruction kidney table, couch and bright classroom rugs for flexible work stations. Our new iPads and Apps allow our students to create, collaborate, and work on lessons tailored to their unique needs. When we teachers have a dream, FOSTOVS makes it reality, a state of the art science program, or raised beds for our shared gardens. I am so thankful for the amazing generosity of FOSTOVS. I hope they know the difference they have made at STV School.”

Together, we will build a bright future for STV School. Supporting the school community is essential to our ongoing success, allowing STV School to provide a quality education rooted in Catholic values. A gift at any level makes a big difference for students. There are many ways to contribute. To discuss alternative ways to contribute, contact us.

Securing charitable gifts and Grants is essential for STV School to meet current and future needs for its educational activities. These include:

  • Encouraging continued financial support and involvement among parishioners, businesses, alumni and FRIENDS.
  • Improving and upgrading technology and equipment.
  • Funding faculty and student activity needs.
  • Funding buildings, grounds, equipment and classroom improvements.
  • Funding marketing and programs related to increasing enrollment.
  • Supporting and advocating for quality Catholic education.
  • Fund “Tuition Assistance” for needy families who want to enrich their children with the opportunities offered by STV.
